About Fouad El Fil
I studied psychology because I believe people aren't problems to be fixed. They're stories to be understood. My work brings together psychology, the body, and practical skills, so change doesn't just make sense in the session. It holds in real life.
Too often, mental health support asks you to choose between deeply understanding your past, or learning practical skills for your present. I believe you need both. We explore the roots of your distress while actively building the capacity to handle the emotions of today.
I work with people from every background, culture, and belief system, and I meet you exactly where you are. There is no judgement here—only a commitment to understanding your experience and helping you navigate it.
"Healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about deeply understanding what is hurting, and building the capacity to hold it."
The mind doesn't work alone.
Mood, emotion, and behaviour are shaped by biology, the body, and how we live. My work brings these together, alongside DBT skills and trauma-informed care, so change reaches the roots, not just the surface.
